Product Marketing Assistant – Subscriptions

Farringdon, London

Salary: £23,000 - £25,000, DoE

Law Business Research is offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled graduate to start their marketing career in the City of London.

We are looking for a talented and driven individual who wants to develop a career in marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for product marketing, lead generation and subscription retention campaigns in order to increase subscription revenue.

What you would be doing:

  • Working with the senior marketing team to develop and execute high impact and focused marketing strategies that showcase content and brand, and drive growth and retention
  • Implementing a well-thought out lead generation strategy to generate a continuous flow of quality leads of the new business sales team
  • Working along our client service team to develop a continuous retention strategy for existing subscribers, culminating in annual renewal campaign
  • Creating and implementing cross-channel marketing plans for existing product and any new developments
  • Ensuring marketing strategies reduce cost and complexity and are repeatable and scalable
  • Creating, managing and executing a content calendar for content marketing across all digital channels
  • Taking ownership of sales and marketing collateral
  • Acting as vital knowledge hub for the brand, working between sales, editorial and client base
  • Optimising onsite activity, including SEO, UX/UI and data capture
  • Delivering insightful KPI reports to keep on track and improve digital marketing ROI and CRM reports
  • Utilising market knowledge and deep customer insight to develop innovative campaigns


What we are looking for:

  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent, ideally in Marketing
  • Enthusiasm, professionalism and willingness to learn.
  • An analytical mindset.
  • 1-2 years’ relevant experience of working in marketing in either B2B, B2C or agency
  • Copywriting, website analytics, email marketing, campaign management, and lead generation funnels experience would be advantageous
  • Experience with putting together a strategic marketing plan would be ideal
  • Extremely organised and able to work in a fast pace environment
