£20,000 - £24,000 per annum DoE

We have an exciting opportunity for an Events Operations Coordinator. As our Events Coordinator you will be responsible for the portfolio of events that will be allocated to you within your respective streams, from concept through to delivery. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to pursue a career within the events world, you will be responsible for delivering each of your events successfully and within the budget allocated.

Requirements

What you would be doing:

  • Manage and lead the on-site events team, directing as necessary to ensure the successful execution of our events.
  • Produce proposals for our conferences from timelines, venues, staffing, contractors and more; responsible for the end to end management of your events.
  • Source, negotiate and contract venues for conferences, dinners, drinks receptions and award ceremonies.
  • Conduct pre-and-post event evaluations with team members and report on the findings.
  • Demonstrate effective communication with sales, editorial, sponsorship, production, web and other LBR departments.

What we are looking for:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Highly organised, and an ability to work to tight targets and deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to build rapport.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with C-level audience
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Previous event management experience would be beneficial
