Sales Development Executive / Research Coordinator, Practitioner Insight, 6 months FTC


Salary: £20,000 – 23,000, DoE

We are looking for a sales development executive / research coordinator to help manage the resource planning for a team of researchers working on two of our brands – Getting The Deal Through and The Law Reviews. This is a great opportunity for someone to step up and take on more management responsibilities.


You would need to understand the sales process from end to end and be able to prospect leads for the sales team using various technologies to optimise the process and improve sales conversion. You would be expected to meet your own research KPIs, as well as help others achieve theirs.


What you would be doing:

  • Identifying and processing new sales leads
  • Reporting on your progress and the performance of the team
  • Market research to identify and target the right audience
  • Coordinating and scheduling workload for the researchers
  • Ensuring the information is updated and maintained on the CRM and database
  • Managing the correspondence and liaising between the sales team and clients
  • Handling customer queries and resolving them in a timely and professional manner


What we are looking for:

  • At least a year’s experience in a sales environment
  • A minimum of a 2:1 from a leading UK university
  • Solid MS Office skills, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to coordinate and schedule work load for the team
  • Commercially focused
  • Market research experience is desired but not essential
  • Legal background or general knowledge of the legal industry would be an advantage
  • Possessing an 'international outlook'
