Product Marketing Manager

£26,000 + attractive benefit package

Law Business Research Ltd (LBR) is an established news service and publishing house based in London providing news, analysis and research tools for the global legal community. We pride ourselves in providing unique information for our subscribers who are drawn from over 100 countries around the world.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, enthusiastic and creative candidate to take responsibility for the marketing, sales and customer engagement activities of one our most established products (Global Arbitration Review).   • Keeping the team appraised of market feedback and client and competitor changes, maintaining an up to date competitor analysis guide
  • Use of Google Analytics to provide a monthly analyses of lead sources and their conversation
  • Managing the customer service experience of subscribers and monitor their usage
  • Effectively promoting key service improvements and new editorial content
  • Creating and executing a thoughtful tactical marketing plan for all major surveys, books and content pieces
  • Ensuring all new titles are launches effectively across all channels, optimising readership, purchases and lead generation
  • Developing media partnerships with external organisations to promote the product to a wide audience
  • Provide the sales team with clear product guidelines including demonstrations of market persona needs, value propositions and sales copy
  • Managing daily social media communications to drive followers, engagement and new leads
  • Using engaging copywriting skills to produce high quality and targeted collateral, advertising and email campaigns
  • Providing a first point of contact for product stakeholders on website issues, communicating agendas and decisions as well as managing enhancement and new features
  • Managing the execution of the brand’s customer engagement plan to drive usage in order to achieve annual renewal rates
  • Managing and executing the annual renewal process to meet volume targets, ensuring all communications are sent on time and providing weekly reports for renewals
  • Recognise opportunities to upgrade accounts to premium level



  • Educated to a degree level with 2-3 years’ experience in a professional marketing role, ideally in B2B environment
  • Demonstrable experience of using Google Analytics
  • Excellent communication skills and experience communicating to internal and external audiences. Strong eye for detail
  • Ideally have some experience with renewals
  • Analytical and problem - solving skills experience
  • Proven experiences of successfully launching a new product or title
  • Basic knowledge of legal market and experience in a media / publishing industry is desirable 
  • Experience of using Communigator or MailChimp
