Salary: £22,000 – 24,000, DoE

We are looking for an events coordinator to join our busy events and conferences team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to kick-start a career in Events and Conferences. You will receive full training and support and gain invaluable experience working for a busy and growing team and be willing to travel internationally.


With 70+ events globally in 2018 and the plan to increase this number year on year, you will be responsible for providing effective organisational and administrative support to deliver awards ceremonies and conferences attended by leading lawyers across our various publications.

 

What you would be doing:

  • Create and maintain event listings
  • Research and negotiate with venues/suppliers
  • Prepare conference materials
  • Coordinate invitations and event logistics, including registration and dealing with on the day enquiries
  • Assisting the ‘Producer’ with administrative duties before and during the event
  • Using CRM to record and manage event information
  • Maintaining client and speaker relations
  • Close out all events as required 

Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in an office environment, events experience is desirable but not essential
  • Customer service experience
  • Experienced in MS Office
  • Well organised, efficient and ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Excellent English communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Excellent attention to detail
